Dear Sir,

I am quite impressed to read all the informations you have provided on the subject of neti and nasya.
We are a small group of company and very recently have developed a plastic pot with cap named as NasyaPot for use as neti pot. This pot is made from food grade plastic material and it is with about 325 ml. capacity. This is our own design and it is registered.
Pl. let us know if this pot is of any interest to you since we have planned to launch this item in internationl market.
The unit price depends on the qty. per order but certainly it is very cheap and durable than cermaic and other material pot.
We will write further or contact you once we hear from you.

With Best Regards,

Mehul Thacker,

Hey Emma,

Definitely there are oils that are better for one constitution over the other. I know sesame and olive oil are considered "neutral," meaning they're good whether you're vata, pitta, or kapha. The nasya blend I have uses those two oils. When I'm unbalanced, it's usually a pitta imbalance, so I've definitely been interested in exploring my dosha a bit more. Do you know your dosha?

i think i remember that, ayurvedically, the type of oil you use is dependent on your type. anyone else heard this?

Hey Terry,
Nice to hear from you! Yeah, neti is traditionally used once a day, but that just doesn't work for me. I don't like how I feel if I use it every day, which I mention in my original post on neti. In allergy season, I'll use it every other day, but in wintertime, just once or twice a week to ward off sickness. I use it when I feel I need it - it's more intuitive.

Do you use it for sinuses? Just curious!

I've really enjoyed having the humidifier. One night we were too lazy to turn it on. When we woke up we were both dry as a bone. My lips were severely chapped all day. The nice thing was that it was very clear that using the humidifier had been making our lives noticeably more comfortable.
