Sadhana is the yoga word for “a means for accomplishing something,” or simply, for “practice.”
Yoga is a great way to help us in all other facets of life. In this all-new yoga odyssey, join Barrett for one month of creating a sadhana,
and bringing your yoga practice home. Be inspired by your own practice, by daily emails from Barrett, by reflections from other
participants, and by practice sequences designed for the month.
You’ll receive the following with the program:
- Each Sunday you’ll receive some practice suggestions and two sequences designed by me. There will be an “active” sequence and a “restorative” sequence, both with a PDF of pictures to guide you. I’ll also suggest some routines available at yogajournal.com
- Each morning there will be an inspirational thought in your email as well, to keep you energized and committed to your practice!
- Finally, you will have access to an online bulletin board to talk with others also going through the yoga odyssey. I will be on the bulletin board a few times a week as well.
- I’ll recommend some general books, DVDs, and music that may help you in your practice. I also encourage you to go to class one or more times a week as part of your commitment to daily yoga!
How to pay:
The full program is $30. You can pay with either credit card or check.

The commitment is to simply have some yoga time every day for a month, and see how it feels.
Here’s what some participants in our January Odyssey had to say:
“The program was much more than I expected! I was surprised by how detailed and thoughtful the daily emails were! I
also didn't expect to have such a supportive, community feeling in the program--the bulletin board was a great tool to keep everyone connected.”
“The program was great. It was immediately clear to me that there's a big difference between doing yoga 2-3 times a week and doing it most days.
I'd just been gradually working on my own through the poses in a beginner's book, and this brought my practice to a different level.
I can see changes in my practice, week by week, and I'm excited about where I can go with this in the months and years to come.
Thank you so much for offering this!”
“The best thing is that i learned how to improvise and craft a practice outside of yoga class. and by practice,
i mean everything from a physical practice on a mat to deep breathing and appreciation at meal time to grappling
with the ease/stamina balance in everything.”
